I had:
- leftover(lo) coconut rice and lo sweet potatoes. I made: Black Bean and Rice cakes with mango chutney
- lo portobello mushroom, variety of cheeses. I made: homemade cheesy spinach and mushroom ravioli.
- lo Italian flavored hamburger. I made: pizza roll ups.
- lo ravioli filling. I made: A mushroom and spinach quiche.
- lo ravioli pasta. I made: Dessert ravioli with cheese cheese and milk and white chocolate. YUMMY!!
I tried to repurpose some food today too, we'll see how it goes. Yours all sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteMy children used to roll their eyes and laugh when I would make a recipe with so many substitutions that you couldn't possibly continue to call the concoction by it's original name--
ReplyDeleteOr what about stretching a handful of hamburger to feed 20--but sometimes you just have to make do with what you have on hand!!
